WORKING IN THE ART STUDIO
Danielle Nelisse is an oil painter who moved her art studio from California to the island of Maui in 2018. She paints on large pieces of unstretched canvas to create expressive, modern and dramatic abstract artwork inspired by landscapes and emotions.
Her art represents a thought provoking view of the world she's inspired by, and invokes feelings of a confident and brave approach to life.
Her paintings are made into fabric, fashion, art prints, and home goods.
The original paintings are exhibited and sold. Currently her artwork is exhibited by ViewPoints Gallery in Makawao, Maui, Hawaii, by the US Embassy in Bahrain and by ArtTalkMagazine in London.
